EXHIBITION IN MARCH![]() I held an exhibition at the Chelsea Gallery in the Old Town Hall on the Kings Road which was on for 2 weeks to the 28th of March. I was exhibiting a selection of my paintings as well as painted furniture which can be seen in another section of 'gallery' on this website. range of painted furniture![]() See 'Painted furniture and wall panels' in 'gallery' for a new range of painted furniture and wall panels inspired by great artists of the past. Mural restoration![]() I recently completed a mural restoration in the St. John's Wood home of Avi Rossini whose premises in New Bond Street provide high quality clothing for some of the world's wealthier gentlemen. See 'mural restoration' in 'gallery' for photographs of this project. Painting in Cologne![]() In October 2008 I spent several days at the Orgatec design fare in Cologne where I was asked to do an oil painting on canvas measuring 150cmx120cm. The commission was from a Chinese company called Comfort Seating who produce designer office chairs. As well as my own landscapes, portraits, murals etc., I also do copies of paintings so I was asked to reproduce a rather modified oil painting of the famous Michaelangelo image of God creating Adam with my version replacing Adam with Comfort Seating's latest hi-tec chair. I had 4 days in which to complete it and the work was carried out in the middle of their large exhibition area where I was photographed and filmed much of the time as I worked, with many of the visitors approaching me to chat and have their photos taken with this London artist in front of his picture. More images of the oil painting can be seen in the 'gallery' page of this website. From the menu select 'Painting in Cologne'. Guest house accommodation in Sardinia![]() This beautiful house in Sardinia is where where many of my paintings start life and where holiday accommodation is now being offered. The house is surrounded by olive and orange trees in several acres of private land. For more details and to book your stay, please visit the website www.olivefarmhouse.com |
